Open Netscape
Type after Go to or Location: "http://inlet.geol.scarolina.edu/nerrscdmo.html" (omit quotes) (NERR CDMO home page)
Enter (return)
After site has been reached go to Bookmarks and then to Add Bookmark. This enables you to go directly to Bookmark when you want to access that site. The site will be listed.
Scroll down using arrows on side until you come to Please sign our guestbook. Sign.
Scroll down and click on standard products.
Window appears - If you agree to the terms below then click yes to go on...click on yes
Window appears - Sites With Standard Products
Click on site - ex. Hudson Bay
Click on metadata. Go to file and then to print or save.
Go to Back.
Window appears - Tables of Daily Averages & Statistics by Month
Scroll down to Statistical files in format to be exported to Excel software.
Select a monitoring site listed below.
- For example select Tivoli South Bay, June 1995
Notice on screen tip - "Hint to download, select "Save As" under File menu in Netscape".
Select "Save As".
Save as Screen:
- For example it will read Save As - tsb695.txt Click on Save.
Select Back until you reach NERR CDMO home page.
Scroll down to NERRS sites.
Click on site (ex Hudson River)
To exit Netscape, go to menu and select quit.
Open harddrive
Locate Netscape
Open Excel
- Locate tsb695.txt file
- Drag to MS Excel
Select File and open tsb695.txt - this file will open as a spreadsheet.
Save
Open Excel
Under file open data file (tsb695.txt file) located in netscape directory.
Save
